Projects VIlla Garden

South City, Gurgaon

The garden had to reflect the client’s love for plants & greenery. We suggested a tropical garden in the Balinese style. The villa had only a 15’ vast and 50’ extended area in the front, left for a garden. It was a challenge to give the clients a tropical look in such a narrow space. We made mounds all along the boundary wall and gave a three-layer plantation. Then the lawn was laid with its edging highlighted by 1’ by 1’ square marble stone. This made the law appear more spacious than it was in reality. A water feature at the entry of the garden was designed. Two prominent sculptured refuse multi-topiary trees from China were planted on either side of the water feature. A stunning three-colour flowering bougainvillaea tree imported from Thailand was produced in a vast round planter, as seen in the picture. We also used giant Balinese farmers in the garden and planted Alocasia / Elephant’s ear plants in them. The garden looked very colourful, with contrasting foliage of carefully chosen plants and bushes
