“Nestled in Delhi NCR, this stunning 3200 square feet modern villa, a masterpiece of wood, steel, and glass, presented a unique landscaping challenge. The expansive structure occupied most of the plot, leaving only small front and back courtyards and a narrow driveway. However, the owners, avid garden enthusiasts, yearned for lush greenery throughout. A key element was concealing the unsightly generator with a tasteful cover, while a small patch of soil offered a precious opportunity for introducing greenery around the house. The villa’s striking architecture provided unexpected canvas for vertical gardens, boasting three levels of outdoor spaces: two expansive balconies and a captivating open-to-sky green area on the ground floor facing the living room. Inspired by the tropics, we envisioned a vibrant garden overflowing with a diverse array of palms and large-leaved plants. The lush foliage would not only soften the modern lines of the villa but also infuse it with the vibrant colors and energy of the tropics, creating a year-round oasis of tranquility.”
