French Garden

French gardens are formal and with the garden style based on symmetry and the principle of imposing order on nature. Nature is tamed, trees are pruned, and a discipline is maintained. The ground is levelled, and the terraces are joined with stairs at different levels.

In this project, a huge house was built on a 400sq yards plot occupying the middle part leaving 15 feet on either side at the front and back. To create a garden with a lawn and plantation was a real challenge. We created a French garden at the front, which gave us the freedom to trim and control the growth of plants and gave us the desired look of a formal, symmetrical garden which could be enjoyed from the living room.
