The clients approached us to create a naturalistic garden for their backyard. The area was narrow and long, so we suggested they build a swimming pool in one corner and design a wooden deck next to the pool. To make it vibrant, we used tiles of blueish turquoise shade on the boundary wall next to the swimming pool, as seen in the pictures. The garden was designed using tropical plantations with traveller’s palms, Areca palms and Alocasia and monsters. We used frangipani trees in huge round pots imported from Vietnam to create a Thai-style garden. On the other end of the green L-shaped wooden bench was given. Using a plantation around it, we tried to provide privacy to this sitting corner for reading and relaxing.
