The desired look was to create a lush tropical garden on the balconies of two Apartments joined together on the 37th floor in DLF camellia. With the beautiful view as a backdrop of a garden, there were a lot of opportunities for us to use different plants, and the additional space was an added advantage.
Since most of the balconies were on the Northeast side, we selected shade-loving plants like Monestera, peace Lilly, and various ferns to go with it. The side facing full sun had Bougainville, purple sage, and Cuphea with various Dracaena to create the magic. The overall view from the bedrooms and living room was stunning as plants were used with the intention of not blocking but giving a colourful year-round view. We created multiple spaces for evening sit-outs, a dining area and an entertainment area with a fire pit where the balcony gardens merged with the surrounding green cover of trees below and the lovely skyline visible from such height, which can be noticed in pictures.
For the lounge balcony area we planned lovely areca and raphis palm to create a relaxed informal surrounding for the seating with fire pit.
