An Office in CP
This office in a beautiful 100-year-old grand building at Connaught Place Delhi had a peculiar issue. All office windows had outdoor AC units installed, which covered one-third of the window, and something had to be done to hide those units. The client did not want to block the beautiful 12-floor skyline view and sunlight with the curtains. There was no direct sunlight, so we suggested indoor office plants, which thrive at such bright locations even if direct sunlight does not fall on them. We designed a wooden rack, and on its top shelf, we used Chamaedorea Palm in beautiful cubical grey planters, which made the entire office look brighter. These plants also supply good oxygen indoors and can be easily maintained. We used a lightweight, nourishing potting mix so that the wooden rack could hold the weight of the plant easily.
