This was a peculiar site as the area was narrow but long. It was a thin strip of land measuring 15 feet by 100 feet, situated next to the driveway. The land was rocky so it was difficult to plant anything there. The client wanted us to design that space as that was the only area in the garden which received an abundance of sunlight during the winters. We created a mound so that the plantation could be done and then designed a waterfall on it with three Koi fish ponds, along with a wooden deck measuring 12 feet by 12 feet, as shown in the pictures. Aquatic plants, lotuses, and water lilies were used to create interest.
